My psychoanalytic/eclectic approach seeks to untangle the causes of old behaviors, while supporting the growth of new, constructive behaviors. A safe and empathic atmosphere will help you as we explore together the past and the present in order to create a more productive and happier future. You may also find an experience with a creative and loving universe will help you feel more centered and connected. I believe each person can find more peace and fulfillment in her or his life.
As the author of a published novel, several short stories and scientific journal articles, as a photographer and painter (www.monetwithacamera.com), and as a licensed psychoanalyst, I am uniquely qualified to help you overcome any obstacles to your creativity, including any blockages in your work or relationships you may be encountering.
We will work on any anxieties or fears, depression, relationship difficulties or family issues that may be impeding your success in either your work or personal life.
I am a NYS Licensed Psychoanalyst in private practice in New York City for over 30 years. I am now working exclusively with people who would like to telephone, email or Facebook/Messenger sessions who may have a disability, time constraints, live too far from a therapist of their choice, or have other reasons for choosing not to come in person to an office. I offer individual sessions for people seeking psychotherapy, as well as supervisory sessions for therapists and other professionals seeking experienced advice.
My fees are flexible, ranging from $135 to $185 for a 50 minute session, and will be worked out with you in the first session. An initial complimentary 30 minute session is available.
If you live in NYS and your insurance plan is a PPO, you can be reimbursed according to your plan. I will provide the necessary documentation. I do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
